Usage Note 56412: An "Unparseable data" exception occurs when you use the Release Tables utility in SAS® Customer Intelligence
When you use the Release Tables (-releaseTables) utility in SAS Customer Intelligence, the utility might fail with an exception similar to the following:
D:\Program Files\SASCustomerIntelligenceUtilities\6.3>sasciutils.exe -releaseTables -userid sasdemo
-password password -utilitylogfile c:/temp/cleanup.log -deldate "May 06, 2015"
ERROR 2015-08-03 16:56:59: Exception: Unparseable date: "May 06, 2015"
This problem occurs because an incorrect delete-date format (-deldate) is used. The -deldate format uses the default locale and the medium length format for the locale.
For this particular example, the locale is English (United Kingdom) locale, and the format should be DD-MMM-YYYY (06-May-2015). To resolve such a problem, you need to ensure that you have the correct format for your locale. For a list of all International Organization for Standardization (ISO) formats that are used with Java, see Java Dates. This document lists the short, medium, and long length formats for each locale (language/country).
